Interaxial is developed by Root & Arc Labs (“we,” “us,” “our”). This policy explains how Interaxial handles information on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro.
The short version: Interaxial does not collect, sell, or share your personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics or tracking, and no servers of ours that your information is sent to. Interaxial talks directly to your camera equipment on your own network, and anything the app creates stays on your device unless you choose to export or share it.
What Interaxial does not collect
We do not operate a backend, a user database, or an advertising network. Interaxial contains no third-party analytics, tracking, attribution, or advertising SDKs. We do not build a profile of you, track you across apps or websites, or receive your usage data.
Information the app uses on your device
Interaxial requests access to a few device capabilities, each only to make a feature work. Access is requested at the moment the feature is used, and you can change these permissions at any time in your device’s Settings.
| Capability | Why Interaxial uses it | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Local Network | To discover and control Blackmagic cameras on your Wi-Fi/LAN (shutter, ISO, white balance, record, and other parameters), and for live SRT/NDI monitoring. | Direct device-to-camera communication on your own network. Nothing is sent to us. |
| Location (while using the app, optional) | To tag camera reports with filming-location coordinates when you enable it, and to keep the app active during a time-lapse so captures fire on schedule. | Stored only inside your own camera reports/exports on your device. Never transmitted to us. |
| Photo Library (add only) | To save captured stills and exported reports to your photo library when you choose to. | Written to your library at your request. Interaxial does not read or scan your photos. |
Location tagging and time-lapse are optional features. If you decline Location access, the rest of the app works normally.
Content you create
Presets, field configurations, camera reports, captured stills, and app settings are stored locally on your device. When you export a report or still (for example as CSV, or to the Immersive Viewer), it is written to the destination you choose — local storage, the Files app, or your own iCloud/cloud account. Those destinations are governed by their own providers’ terms and privacy policies; Interaxial does not receive a copy.
Camera media and control data travel only between your device and your camera over your local network.
Diagnostics
Interaxial does not include crash-reporting or diagnostics SDKs. If you have opted in to sharing diagnostics with developers in your Apple device settings, Apple may provide us with anonymized, aggregated crash logs through App Store Connect. This data is handled by Apple, is not linked to your identity, and is used only to improve app stability. You can turn this off in your device’s privacy settings.
Children
Interaxial is a professional camera tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Data retention and deletion
Because we do not collect your data, we have nothing to retain or delete on our end. Content Interaxial stores on your device is removed when you delete the item in the app or uninstall the app.
Your rights
Since Interaxial collects no personal data, there is no personal data held by us to access, correct, export, or erase. If you have any question about your privacy, contact us at the address below.
Changes to this policy
If we change how Interaxial handles information, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
